Matt Phillips is an entrepreneur from Perth, Australia who first experienced the fitness industry in 1999 working in a Martial Arts School. A short time later, Matt enlisted in the Army graduating Royal Military College as an Officer in the Royal Australian Infantry Corps. After ten years service, Matt decided to change uniforms and served as a Police Officer back in his home town Perth. 

Starting a family (and wanting to stop shift work), Matt applied himself to learning business and created the nation's most effective preparation services for others seeking careers in the Police and Defence services (www.policeprep.com.au and www.defenceready.com.au)

Within a few years, other local businesses noticed Matt's success online and sought his advice in digital marketing. This included Matt's CrossFit Coach who was stuck in his own membership rut. 

Matt quickly discovered a real passion for helping fitness professionals grow their memberships and launched Fitness Pro Marketing to meet this gap in the marketplace. People who were sick of the marketing-hype and just needed the tools to improve their membership generating approach to breakthrough their current limitations (...and maybe even take a holiday!!).
